DEVELOPMENTAL PEDIATRICIAN

The Developmental Pediatrician will provide outpatient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, including participation in our autism program and NICU follow‚Äëup clinics. This role includes teaching opportunities with medical students and residents and may include a faculty appointment at the Macon & Joan Brock Institute of Health Sciences (formerly EVMS). Research opportunities are also available.

 Minimum Requirements

  • Board certified/board eligible in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities
  • Experience with evaluation and treatment of autism spectrum disorder preferred

PSYCHOLOGIST – DEVELOPMENTAL PEDIATRICS

The Psychologist will independently administer, score, and interpret developmental and psychological assessments for children and adolescents, provide diagnostic impressions and recommendations, counsel families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues. Responsibilities may include supervision of non‚Äëlicensed staff and work with community partners.

  • Development of treatment recommendations and coordination of services
  • Counseling families regarding results and needed supports
  • Documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines

Minimum Requirements 

  • Doctorate in clinical, developmental, or school psychology
  • Licensed or license‚Äëeligible in Virginia
  • Postdoctoral training in developmental evaluations
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Minimum 2 years post‚Äëlicensure experience
    • Pediatric experience, especially with children under age 6
    • Experience with ADOS‚Äë2, Wechsler scales, and Differential Ability Scales
