Manning Family Children’s is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Developmental Pediatrics Program. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team caring for children with developmental, behavioral, learning, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with Developmental Pediatricians and other pediatric specialists to provide comprehensive outpatient care, support developmental evaluations, coordinate treatment plans, and assist families in navigating complex developmental and behavioral healthcare needs.

Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) preferred
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) candidates with substantial pediatric experience will be considered
- Experience in pediatrics, developmental-behavioral health, child psychiatry, behavioral pediatrics, neurology, or related specialties preferred
- Louisiana licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient/family-centered care approach
Responsibilities
- Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Participate in developmental and behavioral assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, schools, therapists, and community resources
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Participate in program development, quality improvement, and team-based initiatives
