Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician

The Department of Pediatrics at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine and USA Health is seeking a BC/BE Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our growing academic pediatric program in Mobile, Alabama.

The successful candidate will provide developmental behavioral pediatric care within a regional referral center and work alongside an interdisciplinary team of pediatricians, psychologists, nurses and developmental therapists. The program includes follow up services for high-risk infants, an Autism Diagnostic Clinic and one of Alabama’s five state funded university based Regional Autism Networks.

The position includes opportunities to teach medical students, residents and other health professions trainees, participate in scholarly activities and develop additional areas of clinical and academic interest within USA Health.

Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited U.S. Pediatrics residency and be BC/BE in Pediatrics. Candidates must also be BC/BE in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or currently completing an ACGME accredited fellowship. Academic appointment will be commensurate with training, experience and academic accomplishments. USA Health offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
